About the practice
Western New York’s large animal experts. Springville Veterinary Services is an all-ambulatory practice caring for horses, cattle and other livestock since 1994, from international competitors to backyard pets.
- Serving Erie County and parts of Cattaraugus, Chautauqua and Wyoming Counties
- Farm calls planned by region, one area per weekday, so more time goes to patients and less to driving
- Quality service for clients, compassionate care for patients
The role
A mixed large animal practice associate on the road, seeing a full range of cases including:
- Routine equine medicine, reproduction, and sports medicine
- Dairy herd health and consulting
- Small ruminants, camelids, and occasional swine
- Preventive care and emergency medicine

Your toolkit
Diagnostics that travel to the farm, backed by our own lab:
- Digital radiography
- Ultrasonography
- Endoscopy
- In-house laboratory: bacterial cultures, cytology, complete blood counts, blood chemistries, metabolic analytes, and fecal evaluations
Student loan relief
Our area has qualified for the USDA Veterinary Medicine Loan Repayment Program (VMLRP), which helps pay down veterinary student loans. We expect to be nominated again.
